Write your own Provisional Patent

Bring your inventor's notebooks, prototypes (in a black plastic bag), and note pads or laptops to write a draft of your own provisional patent application for filing in the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("PTO"). Beginning with forms PTO/SB/16 and PTO/SB/17, experienced patent attorneys and agents, who have volunteered their time to attend this session, will guide you through the steps and assist you.  You will also learn how to retain and successfully utilize the assistance of a patent draftsman for your patent drawings.
